IUPAB Scholarship
The International Union for Pure and Applied Biophysics, IUPAB, offers a limited number of grants to some outstanding students and young investigators in Southeast ASEAN countries and to participate in the 40th International Conference of the Microscopy Society of Thailand (MST40). The scholarship covers the registration fee, travel and accommodation expenses, which do not cover by other funding supports. The number of the supported budget is as follows.
1. For students and young investigators with affiliations in Southeast ASEAN countries (excluding Thailand) Number of scholars: minimum of 5 scholars
Budget: up to 500 Euro
2. For students and young investigators currently studying and working in Thailand. Number of scholars: up to 10 scholars Budget: up to 6,000 THB Applicants must apply a document describing their motivation to participate in the MST40 conference to the conference email at mstconference@gmail.com together with other relevant documents, including; - Abstract submitted to the MST40 website - Proof of studentship or career position - Provisional budget
The scholarship application submission deadline is on 15th February 2023. The scholarship awardees will be announced on this website by 28th February 2023.
Once receiving the scholarship, the awardees must
1. Acknowledge IUPAB grant during the oral or poster presentation 2. Submit the “Reflection Form” at the conference registration desk
*Young Investigator is defined as a professionally young in academic or research with the age under 40 years old.MMRES Publication Support 
With the support of JEOL ASIA PTE. LTD. and Becthai Bangkok Equipment & Chemical Co., LTD., the Microscopy Society of Thailand (MST) encourages all MST40 participants to submit the original research paper to the society journal (Microscopy and Microanalysis Research-The Journal of the Microscopy Society of Thailand; MMRES).
JEOL and Becthai offer 10 scholarships of 5,000 THB for the articles accepted to be published in MMRES journal. The author must present the work at MST40 conference to be able to recieve the scholarship.The authors are requested to acknowledge JEOL ASIA PTE. LTD. and Becthai Bangkok Equipment & Chemical Co., LTD. in the manuscript. |
